I keep telling myself "let one person in to encourage civility on the roads and expect two people to do something really crazy, rude and inconsiderate." I was driving back from Cobanos along the highway from Sonsonate to Lourdes and I hit the bad traffic where the one road bridge went down. So two lanes have to merge into one ... but about 100 m from that point, cars started driving down the left shoulder and buses and cars started racing past on the left so instead of 2 lanes merging, you had FIVE lanes of traffic that had to merge to one. Then creaping along in a single file, cars were passing me on the shoulder and then jamming their cars back into the road after gaining 3 or 4 positions. Aaarrrggghhh! As a polite Canadian driver who grew up on Toronto's overly congested roads, I know that cooperating and driving smart will go a long way to keeping the traffic going. Mind you, what I like are cheap tickets and cheap insurance in El Salvador so I shouldn't complain!jaykayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14530463214642480183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760138583594095953.post-15396066546929579842012-01-22T15:55:30.368-08:002012-01-22T15:55:30.368-08:00This was very funny, I esp. liked the remark about...This was very funny, I esp. liked the remark about price smart burning in hell if they restocked the donated food. And I'm glad they scooped the cop up and got him help. I've seen a couple motorcades in El Salvador, they can be silly. And yes, everyone complains about that dam* redondel between Cascadas and Multiplaza which is hel* to drive thru at rush hour. Needs traffic light instead or a re-do.Esmerelda777https://www.blogger.com/profile/04906226681297732786noreply@blogger.com
